Mumiy Troll

Mumiy Troll makes a stop in Paris on 26 February 2026 at the Bataclan, 50 boulevard Voltaire, Paris 11th arrondissement. Born in Vladivostok in the early 1980s around singer-songwriter Ilya Lagutenko, the band has carved out a distinctive path between pop rock, new wave and electronic touches. Their formula, which the group calls rockapops, rests on a recognizable voice, melodic basslines and straightforward choruses. With the album Morskaya in 1997, Mumiy Troll reached major stages, stepped up their touring and represented Russia at Eurovision in 2001. Since then the band has alternated recordings in Russian with projects in English, while keeping a constant link to the maritime and port imagery of Vladivostok. At the Bataclan, the repertoire navigates between memorable tracks from the 1990s and more recent songs, driven by a blend of pop guitars, subtle synths and danceable rhythms that define their style—between love stories, daydreams and horizons at sea.
