Poppy

en: On April 1, 2026, Poppy takes over Den Atelier, 54 rue de Hollerich in Luxembourg. A singer and songwriter born in Boston, who spent time in Nashville before moving to Los Angeles, she first emerged on YouTube under the alias That Poppy, alternating offbeat videos with early electropop tracks. Very quickly, her project opened onto a more hybrid terrain where internet culture, experimental pop and metal guitars attract one another without hierarchy.

From the EP Bubblebath and the album Poppy.Computer, marked by J‑pop and synthpop affinities, to Am I a Girl? and then I Disagree on Sumerian Records, Poppy hardened the sound, introduced industrial textures and alternative riffs, without abandoning clear choruses. Flux pursues a more organic vein; Zig refines the balance between tension and melody. On stage, this trajectory takes the form of a shifting set, with successive breaks between synthetic layers, sharp drum patterns and direct vocals. Her collaborations with Grimes and Fever 333 have consolidated this bridge between pop and alternative rock, and her stagecraft extends her play with identity and digital codes. At Den Atelier, this ongoing metamorphosis is again on display, between contrast and controlled energy.
