Gauvain Sers returns to the stage with Boulevard de l’enfance, his fourth album, written between Paris and the Creuse. True to his storyteller’s pen, he blends confidences with social observation, somewhere between childhood and the adult world. After a four-year break and the arrival of a child, he goes back to the source—the place where “real life” is told: neighborhood cafés, country roads, school memories, quiet angers and the doubts of our time. You’ll find his understated guitars, memorable choruses and sharply drawn portraits.
