Mammoth

Mammoth, the project led by Wolfgang Van Halen, will be at the Bataclan on 26 November 2026, 50 Boulevard Voltaire, Paris 11th. A multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, the son of Eddie Van Halen has traded his role as Van Halen’s bassist to forge his own path, between alternative rock, heavy accents and crisp melodies. Initially launched under the name Mammoth WVH, the project became known with "Distance," a tribute to his father, before a self-titled debut album on which Wolfgang performed and produced every part himself. There you’ll find tracks like "Don’t Back Down" and "Epiphany," flagship songs of a sound cut out for the stage. With Mammoth II he pushed his songwriting and the scope of the riffs further, without losing his knack for a strong chorus. Live, he surrounds himself with a dedicated band to give these songs depth and to build tension without frills. Between an openly assumed legacy and a personal vision, Mammoth asserts a clear, direct identity. In Paris, it’s an opportunity to gauge where this project stands on stage: raw, precise and without easy nostalgia.
