Twenty years after its release, Billy Talent II returns to the stage. On Friday, June 12, 2026, Billy Talent will take over L’Olympia to perform the album in its entirety. The Canadian band, born out of the Mississauga punk scene and driven by Benjamin Kowalewicz’s raspy voice and Ian D’Sa’s precise guitar work, is diving back into the record that shifted their trajectory between punk rock, post-hardcore and alternative rock. Fast riffs, sharp choruses, constant tension: Red Flag, Fallen Leaves and Devil in a Midnight Mass take center stage once more, with lyrics where social anger meets clear melodies.

From their beginnings under the name Pezz up to Crisis of Faith, Billy Talent has drawn a direct line between abrasive energy and a knack for a hook. At L’Olympia, the emphasis will be on Billy Talent II, performed straight through, to recapture that tight, no-nonsense sound that established them on international rock stages. It’s a date for those who grew up with these songs as well as for newcomers curious to hear them in their original format.
