Ludovico Einaudi

Ludovico Einaudi is coming to Brussels with a concert centered on his characteristic piano: clear melodies, repetitive motifs and space for silence and resonance. Trained at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan and once an assistant to Luciano Berio, he gradually shifted from the contemporary avant‑garde toward a more melodic writing style that forms the core of his work.

From Le Onde (1996) via I Giorni (2001), Una Mattina (2004) and Divenire (2006), Einaudi charts a trajectory in which minimalist ideas, simple harmonies and influences from folk and ambient converge. He later released Nightbook, In a Time Lapse, Elements, the seven‑part Seven Days Walking and, most recently, Underwater, with live formats ranging from solo to an intimate chamber ensemble with strings and subtle electronics.

His pieces have also found their way into film and television, through original scores and the reuse of compositions, including in This Is England and Doctor Zhivago. On 8 July 2026 Ludovico Einaudi will perform at Forest National, 208 Avenue Victor Rousseau, 1190 Forest, Belgium.
