Portuguese singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist MARO brings her So Much Has Changed tour to Vancouver on April 26, 2026 at Hollywood Theatre, 3123 West Broadway. Raised in Lisbon and trained at Berklee, MARO writes at the meeting point of pop, folk and soul, coloured by jazz harmony and Lusophone roots. First noticed through intimate voice-and-guitar sessions posted online, she has built a bilingual catalogue in Portuguese and English, including the 2018 trilogy MARO Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3. Her songs lean on close-knit vocal harmonies, acoustic textures and clear melodic lines, often crafted with fellow instrumentalists and singers. In 2022, she represented Portugal at Eurovision with Saudade, saudade, which broadened her reach across Europe and North America. On stage she moves between guitar, keys and layered voices, revisiting early pieces and sharing newer material with a light, precise touch. 19+
