Iron Maiden « Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 »

On August 29, 2026, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto hosts Iron Maiden’s Run For Your Lives World Tour alongside Megadeth. A night built around two bands that shaped metal in different ways, with setlists taillé pour la scène and riffs that speak for themselves.

Iron Maiden formed in 1975 around bassist and songwriter Steve Harris, later joined by Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Bruce Dickinson, Nicko McBrain and Janick Gers. The band forged a clear signature: galloping basslines, interlaced guitar harmonies and story-driven songs drawing on literature, history and pop culture. From the early surge of Iron Maiden and Killers to the turning point of The Number of the Beast, then Piece of Mind, Powerslave and Somewhere in Time, they kept refining a narrative, melodic approach. The concept arc of Seventh Son of a Seventh Son opened new ground, followed by a return to form with Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith in the late 90s. Since Brave New World, albums like A Matter of Life and Death, The Book of Souls and 2021’s Senjutsu have shown a band that evolves without losing its mark.

Founded in Los Angeles in 1983 by Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson, Megadeth sits at the front of American thrash. Fast, precise riffing, sharp rhythm changes and lyrics that tackle politics, war, religion and social fracture define their style. Peace Sells set the tone, Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction anchored their 90s run, while Dystopia and The Sick, the Dying... and the Dead! kept the machine moving.
