Feu! Chatterton

Feu! Chatterton returns to the stage with a spark that suits their name. Formed in Paris in 2011 around singer and lyricist Arthur Teboul, with Antoine Wilson on bass, Clément Doumic and Sébastien Wolf on guitars and keys, and Raphaël de Pressigny on drums, the band crafts songs where sharp writing meets electric tension. After Palais d’argile, a platinum-certified album that drew wide attention at the Victoires de la Musique, they keep pushing a sound that blends rock, pop and discreet electronic textures, carried by Teboul’s phrasing and a rhythm section that drives without excess. On stage, pieces like La Mort dans la pinède, Le Malinche, Boeing, Fou à lier or Souvenirs unfold like short films, mixing spoken melodies, crescendos and breaks, with a rapport to the audience built on words and dynamics rather than effects. Influences run from Bashung to Gainsbourg, but the balance of poetry and energy stays resolutely theirs. Feu! Chatterton plays Théâtre Capitole in Québec on March 6, 2026.
