Raised in East Texas, Chance Peña writes songs that lean into folk intimacy while folding in modern pop detail. He signed at 17 with Secret Road Music Publishing, honing his craft as a writer before stepping forward with his own work. Up, Up & Away landed in the film Five Feet Apart, and his collaboration with John Legend on Conversations in the Dark brought a Grammy nomination. Since then, he’s drawn a world of close-mic vocals, fingerpicked guitars and understated production.
