Laurent Voulzy

After a long concert tour in cathedrals and churches across France, Belgium and Switzerland, followed by a break devoted to writing and composing, Laurent Voulzy returns to the stage. He is launching a tour that blends acoustic guitars with electric colours, and will stop in Quimper on 9 January 2027 at the Parc des Expositions de Quimper-Cornouaille.

On the programme are songs that have accompanied many moments — from Rockollection to Le Soleil Donne, including Belle-Île-en-Mer and Marie-Galante — rearranged with restraint for the stage alongside more recent pieces. His gentle voice, carefully crafted harmonies and a tight-knit band create an intimate atmosphere even in large venues, leaving space for the melodies. Between ballads and brighter tempos, Voulzy moves between pop and folk, prioritizing musicianship, singing and connection with the audience. It is a way to rediscover a familiar repertoire from a different angle, conceived for this engagement in Quimper.
