Imany has followed a distinctive trajectory for more than ten years, carried by a deep, clear voice and a compelling sense of storytelling. On stage, her songs bring the intimate and the political together, with carefully crafted lyrics and an energy that draws as much from soul as from folk. She will be at La Nouvelle Vague Saint-Malo on March 27, 2026, for a performance focused on interpretation and the power of words.
She returns with Women Deserve Rage, a new album that embraces anger as a legitimate emotion and a resource for rebuilding. In it, Imany asserts the need to reclaim one’s freedom, to name what suffocates, and to reappropriate one’s truth in the face of a society that still too often seeks to control or silence women. On stage, this new material is presented in direct, rhythmic writing, in service of the voice and the message.
