Goldmen brings Jean-Jacques Goldman’s repertoire and the songs of the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones back to the stage, in the spirit of their tour “De Goldman à Fredericks Goldman & Jones.” Fronted by Alain Stevez, whose timbre is reminiscent of Goldman’s, and by Sabrina taking Carole Fredericks’ part, the group revisits the songs that marked several generations: Envole-moi, À nos actes manqués, Il suffira d’un signe, and other classics. The arrangements favor the energy of the live versions—backing vocals, bright clean guitars, keyboards—and those choruses everyone knows. On January 15, 2027, at the Arènes de Grand Paris Sud in Évry-Courcouronnes, Goldmen offers a return to songs meant to be shared, without forced imitation, with close attention to tempo, harmonies and voices that match the remembered sound. It’s an opportunity to dive back into the 1980s–2000s, to hum, to sing, and to appreciate how well these tracks hold up in concert.
