Hans Zimmer « Odyssées Symphoniques »

Hans Zimmer, the German composer who reshaped the landscape of film music, comes to the Grand Rex in Paris on 17 April 2027 for a journey through his most famous film scores. From the brooding pulses of The Dark Knight to the architectural soundscapes of Inception, from the cosmic expanses of Interstellar and Dune to the sea-sprayed themes of Pirates of the Caribbean, and including Gladiator, Man of Steel, Sherlock Holmes and King Arthur, his themes tell thirty years of collaborations with filmmakers such as Christopher Nolan, Ridley Scott, Zack Snyder and Guy Ritchie.

Les Odyssées Symphoniques brings together the Orchestre Colonne and a full choir, bringing the total to around a hundred musicians on stage, for performances faithful to the original scores. It features the blend of electronic and orchestral textures, memorable leitmotifs, taut strings and the percussion that has become Zimmer’s hallmark, all conceived for the Grand Rex auditorium.

Produced by Overlook Events, the evening emphasizes the composer’s writing and sonic imprint, unfolding a panorama of his major works alongside some rarer pieces, inviting the audience to revisit the music that still accompanies our imagery.
