La Rue Kétanou will be appearing at Rock School Barbey in Bordeaux on 21 May 2026. From their earliest songs performed at street level to shows on large stages, the trio brings along a loyal and curious audience, drawn by choruses everybody sings together and by stories that carry the scent of the road. Over the course of tours they cultivate a direct bond with the audience — people listen, smile and sing, without any showmanship, driven by the simple desire to share. This Bordeaux date promises to be a new step where the songs are reinvented in contact with the public.
You’ll find their free approach to making a song sound: guitars, accordion and voices answering one another, somewhere between folk, urban poetry and roaming energy. La Rue Kétanou moves at its own tempo, gives the words time, adjusts the melodies and keeps putting the story front and center. No posing, just the moment and the flow of the lyrics. In Bordeaux they will gather regulars, passersby and newcomers, ready to walk together through the verses and to take a few choruses with them for the journey home.
