High Fade

On March 14, 2026, I.Boat Bordeaux hosts High Fade, a Scottish disco-funk trio formed in Edinburgh and now based in Glasgow. Harry Valentino (guitar/vocals), Oliver Sentance (bass) and Heath Campbell (drums/vocals) honed their sound on the streets before taking to countless stages, now surpassing a thousand gigs. As a power trio with tight grooves and vocals front and center, their music sits between soul/Motown and classic rock, crafted for the dancefloor.

First revealed with "Sharpen Up," followed by "Burnin" and "Burnt Toast and Coffee," High Fade blends catchy riffs with a taut rhythm section. The band captures its live energy and channels it into regular releases on their RPN Records label, including club-focused remixes by the likes of Opolopo and Oden & Fatzo. It’s a natural bridge to house and contemporary disco, without losing the trio’s organic edge.

Following the release of "Life’s Too Fast," High Fade arrives in Bordeaux with a set built for movement. Three musicians, no frills, a well-oiled rapport forged on the road—more than enough to turn the I.Boat’s deck into a dancefloor.
