Zoufris Maracas navigate French chanson in their own way: alter-globalization activists without borders, political yet resistant to labels. With richly textured guitars, rolling brass and melodies brought back from their travels, they upend conventions and portray reality in chiaroscuro: poetry in the foreground, commitment woven through, and a groove that invites dancing.
