MOUNDRAG + RED SUN ACATAMA

On March 7, 2026 at Le Ferrailleur in Nantes, MOUNDRAG arrive as a fraternal duo: Colin on drums, Camille on Hammond organ, both sharing vocals. As a pair they unfold a dense, direct sound driven by a tight dialogue between the drum kit, vintage keyboard and voices. Situated between Deep Purple-style hard rock and late ’60s/early ’70s proto‑prog psychedelia à la ELP, they have forged a language they call Hard Prog Heavy Psych. Also active in Komodrag & The Mounodor and Smooth Motion, they bring this project back to essentials here: a raw, propulsive live set where biting riffs, prog breaks and acidic washes intertwine.

Red Sun Atacama blends psychedelia with a punk edge, fuelled by fuzz tones inherited from Fu Manchu, Red Fang or Brant Bjork. The trio sculpts an abrasive stoner rock that prioritizes groove and trance. On stage they recreate the studio intensity and have shared bills with Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Mars Red Sky, Planet of Zeus and Slift. In 2024 they played Desertfest Belgium and Hellfest, before a European tour supporting Dopelord. A new album is expected in early 2026 on Mrs Red Sound Records, offering the chance to hear previously unreleased tracks on the road.
