On April 10, 2026, Espace Glenmor Carhaix‑Plouguer hosts Annie Ebrel and her quartet with An Ebatoù, a project that places Breton dance at the heart of the singing. A Breton singer, Annie Ebrel draws on gwerzioù and sonioù to traverse joys, sorrows and beliefs—the life that is expressed in a round dance. Here, the dance is not a frozen folklore but a pulse that binds voices and bodies together. Accompanied by Ronan Pellen on cittern, Clément Dallot on keyboards and Daravan Souvanna on electric bass, she opens her repertoire to contemporary textures: strings that guide the pulse, keyboards that stretch the space, bass that anchors the step, voices that trace the way.
