Taïro

Taïro has navigated for 25 years between reggae, dancehall and urban influences, with direct lyrics that speak to real life. From his first steps within the One Shot collective alongside Disiz and Faf Larage, tied to the Taxi 2 soundtrack, to a discography marked by Ainsi soit-il, Chœurs et âme and Reggae Français, not to mention the four Street Tape releases, his career has been built over time, through notable collaborations and tracks rooted in sound system culture.

He returns to the stage for an anniversary tour and will stop at Lo Bolegason in Castres on March 20, 2026. On the bill is a set that spans all periods, from the songs that first made Taïro known to his most recent work, blending reggae roots, dancehall accents and contemporary sounds. On stage he presents a repertoire where storytelling, sung choruses and sharper toasts intersect, continuing to evolve his music while preserving its fundamentals. It’s an ideal occasion to revisit his universe and appreciate how far he’s come.
