Bun Hay Mean – Kill Bun

Bun Hay Mean, also known as Chinois Marrant, returns to the stage with Kill Bun, his new show. See him on April 1, 2026 at Espace 1500 in Ambérieu-en-Bugey.

He is known for his direct stand-up, his way of challenging clichés about identity and origin, and for his sense of improvisation and interaction with the audience. After four years on tour, he comes back with a sharpened format that takes current events, the personal and the cultures that run through him and turns them inside out in his own way.

Kill Bun moves at a direct pace, with sudden digressions and the ability to jump from one subject to another without warning. On stage, Bun Hay Mean plays with languages, accents and the musicality of words, building his jokes through contact with the audience. Between observations on France, echoes of Asia and stories of personal journeys, he sketches a personal map that is clear-headed and funny. Enough to reconnect regulars with his universe, and to provide a clear entry point for those discovering him.
