The Avener

On March 6, 2026, The Avener will take the decks at Le Transbordeur in Villeurbanne. Behind the name is Tristan Casara, a DJ, producer and musician from Nice, trained in classical piano from childhood at the conservatory. His career kicked off strongly with the album The Wanderings of the Avener and the rework “Fade Out Lines,” adapted from a Phoebe Killdeer track, which became ubiquitous and earned him certifications in France and abroad, as well as a Victoire de la Musique in 2015. This was followed by an extensive tour of clubs and festivals, where he honed his signature sound between deep and melodic house and a keen sense of sampling.

In 2020 he returned with Heaven, carried by “Beautiful” featuring Bipolar Sunshine and “Under the Waterfall” with M.I.L.K., confirming his taste for luminous vocals and elegant arrangements. With Lunae Veritas he signaled a return to the foundations that launched his story: dance music and DJ culture, balancing carefully crafted reworks and original productions. In Villeurbanne he appears in a live-club format designed for the stage, with a way of weaving progressive atmospheres, playing with dynamics and setting reworked classics in dialogue with new material. It’s an occasion to grasp where The Avener stands today, between legacy and future directions.
