MDNS tells the stories of those we rarely see and seldom hear. From Lille, he portrays a battered everyday life without affectation, using direct words and a tension that refuses fatalism. French indie is in his DNA, but above all he has a way of putting the street and the intimate on equal footing.
His tracks call out injustices, protect his people and keep the flame alive. Nervy rhythms, hooks that stick, and a raw-grained voice: no showmanship, just the urgency to speak. You encounter the boredom of large housing estates, loyalties, small hard-won victories, and the desire to go further, despite everything.
