Info

On June 19, 2026, at the Zénith de Caen in Caen, comedian Elena Nagapetyan takes the stage to tell the story of a life that is at once simple and complicated. Born in Uzbekistan, raised in Russia, she left home at 13, arrived in France at 22, married a Tinder match, became a mother, divorced, went through postpartum depression and held several different jobs. Her greatest fear is having regrets. And also cockroaches. She has already encountered cockroaches; for everything else, she would do it all over again the same way.

She chooses to tell it in French, a language that is not her own but one she now uses naturally, to unfold a story of conscious choices, freedom and stubbornness. At the center is a woman who sticks to her principles, even when she has to take her son to the park with a hangover. Saying what she thinks and living as she pleases: that is the common thread. On stage, Elena turns her detours into material to be told, without pointless digression, with the energy of those who prefer to move forward rather than stay silent.
