Covertramp

On 19 June 2026, Covertramp will take over Le Colisée Chartres to delve back into Supertramp’s repertoire. Six multi-instrumentalists, with vocals and keyboards at the forefront, recreate the arrangements, harmonies and energy of the British band with meticulous attention to detail. Praised by Roger Hodgson, the project emphasizes precision of timbre and voice: vintage pianos and keyboards, guitar and sax, a flexible rhythm section—everything is designed to recover the original color without betraying the live momentum. For nearly two hours the group plays through roughly twenty-five songs spanning several albums. You’ll of course hear Breakfast in America, School, Goodbye Stranger and It’s Raining Again, as well as some less-expected tracks for aficionados. The aim is to revive on stage the songwriting partnership of Davies and Hodgson—its piano-driven melodies, its breaks and vocal harmonies—supported by complementary voices and frequent instrument changes.
