Thundercat

Thundercat stops in Paris on Wednesday 18 March 2026 at Salle Pleyel. A bassist, singer and composer from Los Angeles, Stephen Bruner moves effortlessly between jazz, funk, soul and R&B, defying easy categorization. His six-string bass acts as a compass for supple melodic lines, rich harmonies and an immediately recognizable falsetto. A Grammy Award winner, he forged his identity through work with Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus and Gorillaz, building bridges between electronic production, soul songwriting and jazz tradition.

On stage, Thundercat stretches out his pieces, plays with contrasts and lets improvisation breathe without losing the groove.
