Thylacine continues his path as a nomadic musician. For Roads Vol. 3, William Rezé leaves the routines of his Paris studio and sets off to compose on the move for three months across a new continent. True to his 1972 Airstream converted into a mobile workshop, he collects sounds, moments and ideas along the route, as he has done before along the Trans‑Siberian, in the Andes, on the Faroe Islands or in Turkey, where he learned the baglama. He, who rarely writes two tracks in the same place, embraces this need to be uprooted to reset his methods and let intuition take the lead. On stage, his sweeping electronic textures, supple rhythms and patiently carved melodies carry these on‑the‑spot recorded landscapes.
