The Jeff Panacloc Company

Jeff Panacloc arrives with The Jeff Panacloc Company, a show that cracks open the door to his secret office to release a parade of voices and puppets. A comedian, ventriloquist and seasoned puppeteer, he orchestrates a small society of vividly drawn characters: a loudmouthed colleague, an overconfident boss, a friend with shaky optimism… Each figure bursts in, jostles and contradicts the others, propelled by precise diction and timing that makes the lines bounce. Panacloc plays on incongruity, slips into the absurd, nibbles on current affairs and allows improvised detours by drawing on the audience’s reactions. His ventriloquism, clear and agile, enables a constant back-and-forth between him and his creations, in a mix of stand-up, sketches and backstage confidences. The show navigates office satire, petty everyday cowardice and grand displays of bad faith, all held together by a sense of rhythm that keeps it on course.
