Jeff Panacloc presents The Jeff Panacloc Company, a new chapter for the French ventriloquist and comedian, who turns his office into a miniature theater and parades a gallery of offbeat characters. His act relies on vocal precision, a rapid back-and-forth with his puppets, and a sense of timing that glides from one scene to the next without pause. Between stand-up, multi-voice dialogues and mischievous asides, he juggles everyday situations, bends the absurd and lets each figure assert its bad faith, nervousness or tenderness for the length of a sketch. Transitions are swift, improvisation slips into the folds, and the writing keeps an eye on the times without getting lost in messages.
