Info
On September 4, 2027, at O2 Academy Islington in London, From the Jam brings back the sharp, tight energy of the late-70s/early-80s UK mod revival and punk crossover that made The Jam such a defining band. Expect a set built around fast, melodic songs where the guitars stay lean, the rhythm section hits hard, and the hooks land with that straight-to-the-point urgency.
The Jam’s DNA is all about blending punk drive with mod attitude, power-pop punch, and a deep love for 60s beat music, soul and R&B. Their run from 1972 to 1982 moved quickly from raw early intensity to more detailed, story-led writing, without losing the nervy edge that set them apart on the British scene. This London date is a chance to reconnect with that sound in a live setting: concise, rhythmic, and made to be shouted back from the front rows.
