Info
On February 27, 2027, Sophia Stel brings The Greatest Tour of All Time to Commonwealth in Calgary, a chance to catch her alternative pop world in its most alive form: part singer-songwriter, part producer, always focused on texture and mood. Based in Vancouver, she writes songs that sit between dream-tinged electronic music and off-centre alt-pop, where intimate vocals float over misty synth layers and supple breakbeats.
If you’ve heard “ineedthat,” you know the tension she plays with: closeness and distance, softness and rhythmic snaps, melodies that linger like a memory. On stage, that balance opens up, with room for atmosphere, sudden ruptures and a melancholic, forward-looking edge. Following her 2024 EP Object Permanence, this date in Calgary is set up as a deep dive into a universe where the song stays at the center, even when the production drifts into the hazy, experimental side of pop.
