Info
Revealed on the radar of the Inouïs at the Printemps de Bourges, Bars en Trans, or the Eurockéennes, copycat quickly established itself as a duo as comfortable on stage as in the headphones. Apolline and Zoé, cousins and accomplices, craft a nerve-racking pop-rock where guitars and bass rub against more electronic rhythms, all carried by their vocal harmonies and a concise, direct, often ironic writing.
Their tracks that went viral, such as 'it's ok' or 'oulala', take on another dimension live: a tighter format, deliberate contrasts, and that blend of energy and intimacy that moves from letting go to clarity without warning. On April 23, 2027, at La Maroquinerie in Paris, copycat will open a new chapter, between catchy pop refrains and jolting rock tension, with that taste for the contradictions of twenty-somethings that you dance as much as you take in.
