Info
Fat Dog lands at the Melkweg in Amsterdam on March 28, 2027 with their Cancel Me (I'm Tired) European Tour. The London band, formed during lockdown, has built a reputation as a live act that thrives on the edge of control: post-punk with dance-punk energy and an electronically driven engine underneath. Expect tight, tense synth lines that bite, rhythms that tilt toward rave, and sudden sidetracks that push the whole thing in a different direction. With frontman Joe Love at the helm, Fat Dog sounds like a collision between raw rock drive and danceable repetition, with room for quirky details and a light fondness for the absurd. Tracks such as King of the Slugs, All the Same, Running and I Am the King show how they stack hooks, tension and tempo without smoothing them out. Live, that comes together in a set that moves as much as it grates, with that typical mix of urgency and playfulness.
