Info
On May 5, 2027, Charlotte Cardin will perform at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Montréal-based singer moves smoothly between pop, soul and jazz, with songs that rest as well on a tight beat as on a sparse piano. Her strong point remains that direct, clear voice that doesn't hide emotions: stories about relationships, doubt, late-night thoughts, and the moment when you have to show who you are. After her breakthrough in Canada, Cardin decisively chose her own material, in English and in French. With the EPs Big Boy and Main Girl she established an atmosphere of intimate ballads and electronic textures, and on Phoenix modern pop and R&B came to the fore without losing the finesse. 99 Nights sounded more live and straight to the point. In Amsterdam you can expect a set that shifts between vulnerability and groove, with room for dynamics and intimate, close-up songwriting.
