Info
Sam Fender brings his Proper Massive Stadium Tour ’27 to Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on July 17, 2027, scaling up the rush of his recent records into a full-stadium set built for big singalongs and tight, punchy dynamics. Expect bright, nervy guitars, choruses that open wide, a rhythm section that stays taut, and that signature splash of sax that can flip a song from intimate to widescreen in seconds. Fender’s writing keeps its feet on the ground, moving through youth, family ties, mental health, and the social pressure lines of contemporary England, carried by a voice that keeps his North East edge even at maximum volume.
Wunderhorse joins the bill with their guitar-forward alternative rock: direct, tense, and melodic, sitting somewhere between indie grit, grunge bite, and garage snap. Led by Jacob Slater, the band has sharpened their live attack across relentless touring, turning lean song forms into something physical and immediate. A strong match for a night that’s built around modern British rock that hits hard and doesn’t drift.
