Info
On February 28, 2027, Chanpan brings its World Tour to Òran Mór in Glasgow, with the kind of set that feels built for close rooms and loud singalongs. Formed in New York around Grace Dumdaw and twin brothers Lance and Matthew Tran, the band grew out of Chinatown street corners, where playing in front of passing crowds shaped their sense of pace, punch, and immediacy.
On stage, that origin story translates into indie rock that hits with punk urgency and a clear riot grrrl echo: sharp guitars, tight grooves, and vocals that don’t hide behind effects. Chanpan’s songs are direct, made to connect fast and stay with you, balancing hooks with a DIY edge borrowed from the city’s independent circuit. If you like gigs where the band keeps it focused, leaves room for chaos, and treats the audience like part of the show, this Glasgow date is the one to catch.
