Info
On February 24, 2027, CHVRCHES bring their Live 2027 show to History in Toronto. The Glasgow trio have built their signature at the meeting point of synthpop, indietronica and sharp, melodic pop: bright electronic textures, tight choruses, and that hint of melancholy that keeps the songs from feeling too polished. From early anthems like “The Mother We Share” to the darker pull of Screen Violence and the more direct pop swing they’ve explored over the years, their set usually moves fast, with hooks that land and arrangements that keep shifting.
Live, it’s all about the balance between Lauren Mayberry’s clear, front-and-center vocal and the duo of Iain Cook and Martin Doherty shaping the tracks from behind the keys, beats and harmonies. Expect a show that leans into both the emotional weight and the rush, designed for a room that likes its pop loud and its synths upfront.
