Info
Thundermother will come to the Garage in Saarbrücken on March 6, 2027, bringing the energy of their Mothers of Thunder Tour 2027 straight to the stage. Since 2009 the band has been pushing their straightforward hard rock forward: dry riffs, a boogie kick, and that unadorned power that recalls the Australian rock of the 1970s and 1980s, without sounding like a museum piece.
At the center is guitarist Filippa Nässil, who has kept Thundermother alive through all lineup changes and continually reoriented the band. In the current lineup, her angular guitar work meets the clear vocals of Linnéa Vikström, with Majsan Lindberg on bass and Joan Massing on drums. Live, it comes across as a set of short hooks, tense guitar lines, and choruses that land immediately. Anyone who has followed Thundermother through albums like Heat Wave, Black and Gold, or their latest Dirty and Divine will find here the fitting, direct live rendition of the concert.
