Info
On March 10, 2027, at Troxy in London, Malte Marten brings his Trio onstage for a deep dive into the handpan’s hypnotic sound world. Known for a playing style that mixes ambient warmth with light neoclassical touches and minimalist repetition, he builds pieces that unfold slowly, with calm textures and melodic lines designed for close listening.
This show leans into resonance and rhythm: patterns loop, tension hangs in the air, then releases into spacious, floating passages. Marten’s background in street performance and widely shared video sessions still shows in the directness of his approach, but the trio format opens the music up, giving his pared-down motifs more room to breathe and shift. Expect an evening built around focus, slowdown, and that rare feeling of stepping out of the daily noise for a while.
