Info
On February 1, 2027, Lisa O’Neill brings Imbolc to Vicar Street in Dublin, a night built around the kind of songs that don’t need much dressing up to hit. Raised in County Cavan and shaped by years of playing between singer-songwriter folk and Irish traditional music, she’s known for a stripped-back approach: a deep, lived-in voice, guitar or banjo close to the mic, and stories that land straight.
Expect narrative ballads, sharp social observation, and that thread of traditional singing that runs through her writing. With albums stretching from Has an Album to All of This Is Chance, she’s built a repertoire that works best in a room where the words stay central and the space does the rest. Imbolc is a good fit for that: a winter-to-spring threshold, turned into an intimate set where the performance stays direct and human.
