Info
On May 14, 2027, at the Big Band Café in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, Clinton Fearon returns to spotlight an essential part of roots history: his repertoire with The Gladiators. A bassist, singer and songwriter, he joined the group in 1969 and helped shape this reggae, rooted in everyday life and threaded with a social and spiritual vein. On stage, you can hear what has always defined him: melodic bass lines that drive the groove, a calm, almost narrative vocal, and classic rhythms that let the words breathe. This is an opportunity to hear these songs in a version carried by the man who lived them from the inside, between Jamaican memory and a lucid view of the world, with his straightforward, no-frills way of telling the story.
