On November 13, 2026, Thibault Cauvin sets down his suitcases at Théâtre des Salins, the national stage of Martigues, with Alter Ego, a solo conceived as a travel diary. Alone with his guitar, he unfurls a recital in which the classical guitar steps outside its frame, nourished by his tours to the four corners of the world and by encounters that leave a mark. Accustomed to both stages and unconventional venues, he has built his career around the concert, stringing together dates and countries, with that taste for musical storytelling that gives depth to each piece.
In Alter Ego, his precise and fluid playing rests on a real science of nuances: delicacy in the breaths, intensity when it is necessary to raise the tension. A direct, intimate moment, where technique serves above all a very direct way of telling the music, between revisited repertoire and personal digressions.
