Info
On April 27, 2027, Supergrass land at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom with that Oxford-born mix of britpop snap and straight-up rock energy. Built around Gaz Coombes, Mick Quinn and Danny Goffey, and later joined on keys by Rob Coombes, the band has always played with contrasts: quick, punchy songs that hit fast, then bigger choruses and left turns in the arrangements.
Expect a set that traces their run from the early rush of “Caught by the Fuzz” and the headlong drive of I Should Coco to the sharper, more crafted writing that followed on In It for the Money. Over the years they’ve stretched into denser textures and different shades—psych-leaning pop, glam flashes, slower tempos, and more reflective moods—without losing that tight, collective feel. After splitting in 2010 and regrouping in 2019, Supergrass on stage is still about momentum, melody, and a band that knows exactly how to switch gears mid-song.
