Info
On October 20, 2026, Lauren Sanderson brings her sharp, genre-blurring songwriting to The Mod Club in Toronto. Raised in Fort Wayne and now based in Nashville, she’s built a sound that sits right between pop hooks, hip-hop cadence, R&B warmth, and a rock edge that’s been getting louder with each release.
Live, Sanderson’s strength is that push-and-pull between melody and talk-sung flow: quick, punchy songs with choruses that land fast, then verses that cut closer to the bone. Her catalog moves from the early EPs Center of Expression and Spaces through the label-era Dont Panic! and into a more independent, rock-leaning streak on projects like Midwest Kids Can Make It Big and Death of a Fantasy, with recent releases digging into identity, relationships, and mental health without dressing it up. Expect a set that flips between pop-punk energy and hip-hop rhythm, built for singing along and letting off steam.
