Info
Takida comes to Stadthalle Aurich in Aurich on January 17, 2027, with the 'Section 7 Tour' and brings exactly the sound the Swedes have stood for since the late 1990s: alternative rock between post-grunge and pop rock, driven by thick guitars, clear melodies, and choruses that stick in your head immediately. Rather than nostalgia, this set showcases the band's development—from the early, direct-to-the-point songs around 'Make You Breathe' and 'Bury the Lies' to the later records, where more atmosphere and finer textures are added. Takida work with contrasts: pressure and drive in the verses, then these open hooklines, over which the vocals move to the fore. Live, the interplay of lead vocals, two guitars, and the more reserved keyboards comes across as especially tight—perfect for those who like rock that really pushes, but isn't just about aggression.
