Info
Warhaus takes a different path with Ha Ha Heartbeats and sharpens his project to the limit during ADE. On 23 October 2026, Maarten Devoldere will perform at Cinetol (Amsterdam) with an exclusive live setting in which Warhaus is reduced to a duo. Less band, more space: live electronics move to the fore, pushing the songs toward a darker, more pronounced and hypnotic sound. Devoldere, who launched Warhaus in 2016 alongside his work with Balthazar, performs here with the tension he has long excelled at: deep voices, sober lines, and slowly building grooves, but now with a club edge. The boundary between concert and dance floor is deliberately blurred, as if you find yourself in the middle of a new chapter. Ha Ha Heartbeats is conceived as a temporary format, a look ahead at what Warhaus still has in store.
