Info
On December 12, 2026, at Le 109 in Nice, Mungo’s Hi Fi come to let the sound-system culture speak as they have been doing since their beginnings in Glasgow. Born at the turn of the 2000s, the Scottish crew built itself in the Jamaican lineage, between reggae, dub and bass that take centre stage. On stage, their set relies on roots rhythms, clearly marked dub versions and passages leaning more toward rub-a-dub or dancehall, with that knack for mixing and selection that links tradition to the energy of clubs. Producers as well as DJs, they also carry a studio practice nourished by collaborations with singers and MCs, and a strong penchant for sound-system formats.
As the opening act, Red Echoes kicks off the evening and sets the stage before the tension builds.
