Info
The Undertones arrive in Madrid to celebrate 50 years on the road with a live show that revisits the essence of their melodic punk: short songs, simple riffs and that power-pop pulse that put them on the map since the late seventies. On March 20, 2027, at Mon Madrid, the band returns to that mix of urgency and melody that turned the everyday and adolescence into fuel for the stage, without artifice.
In the set, the early phase, marked by the immediacy of the 1979 debut and the momentum of Hypnotised, crosses with the evolution of Positive Touch and The Sin of Pride, where the group opened the sound toward more crafted structures and pop and soul nods. With Paul McLoone at the helm since the late-1990s reunion, they keep the focus on what they do best: punk rock, garage and power pop in a direct, rhythmic and in-your-face live format.
