Info
Scared To Dance is back with a night built for people who like their pop sharp, their guitars nervous, and their choruses impossible to ignore. On October 24, 2026 at The Shacklewell Arms in London, resident Paul Richards invites John Grant behind the decks for a guest DJ set that should feel like a fast, friendly tour through post-punk, indie and new wave.
Known for his own mix of piano-led songwriting and electronic textures, Grant has always moved between intimate ballads and synth-pop instincts. Here, that sensibility flips into selection mode: expect a dancefloor conversation between Talking Heads and The Cure, Blondie and David Bowie, Joy Division and The Smiths, with newer staples like Fontaines D.C, Wet Leg, Wolf Alice, Dry Cleaning and Geese sliding in without breaking the flow. One part nostalgia, one part right-now, all killer tracks.
