Info
RdeRumba, also known as Rubén Cuevas, takes the helm once again of a night designed for those who grew up among beats and basslines. On February 18, 2027, he lands at Wolf Barcelona with RdeRumba & Porcel - Funk Experience, an encounter where rap and funk cross paths without posturing: a fine selection, steady groove, and that producer's instinct that has spent decades shaping the hip hop scene here.
A DJ and producer central to Violadores del Verso, his sound draws on soul and black music, always with rhythm at the center. In the booth, his status as a vinyl collector is evident: he blends classics with less obvious cuts, avoiding clichés, and builds a session that unfolds like a journey. In the Funk Experience format, alongside Carlos Porcel, a facet closer to instrumental work opens up, with the pulse of live performance breathing between tracks.
